The digital impact of Kainuu Orienteering Week (KOW) and Kainuu Trail has reached a historical peak. During the 2025–2026 season, the digital content of these events achieved nearly 4.5 million impressions. The Kainuu summer has solidified its position at the pinnacle of Finnish sports tourism. The year 2027 will be historic for the Kainuu region. Vuokatti-Jukola 2027, Kainuu Orienteering Week, and Kainuu Trail will bring together tens of thousands of orienteers, trail runners, and sports enthusiasts from around the world. Although Kainuu Orienteering Week association is not the primary organizer of Jukola, the event creates a massive "boost effect" for the entire region.
For partners, this offers a unique continuity: visitor flows to Kainuu are increasing as early as this coming summer through training packages, camps, and the Pre-Jukola relay.
