Each orienteer must have their own Emit card number

Different orienteers (participants/persons) CANNOT use the same Emit card during the orienteering week. Also, in recreational orienteering (open courses), each individual must have their own separate Emit card to use during the orienteering week.
For safety reasons Emit card is mandatory to use for all orienteers in Kainuu O-Week, as this is the only way we can control which orienteers have arrived from the terrain to the finish. In family-RR with one Emit card it is possible to orienteer as a team/group for example a child with parents, etc., as it counts as one registration.
If you do not own an Emit card, it is possible to rent one from Kainuu Orienteering Week. Orienteers in open courses can rent an Emit card from the open courses info desk, and competition category orienteers from the KOW-info desk. Rental is available for the whole week (€15/week) or per day (€5/day).
Competition category orienteers, please notify the need for an Emit card rental in advance by June 10, 2024, to the competition office at info@rastiviikko.fi, and we will reserve an Emit card for you in advance.
