Parking and bus tickets for the 2025 event now on sale

You can reach the competition center of the Kainuu Orienteering Week, held from June 29 to July 4, 2025, in Heikkilä (Otrantie 7B, Sotkamo), either by race bus or by driving to the designated parking areas.

Camper vans are permitted to park only in the P4 SPECTATORS (general audience) parking area.

Bus Tickets

You can conveniently travel by our competition bus from Sotkamo town centre through Katinkulta and the KOW Event Centre (Vuokatti Sport) to the Competition Centre at Heikkilän pirtti and back during each of the four stages. The distance from the event bus stop to the competition center is approximately 700 meters on foot.

Prices:

• Adult: €20 / week, €4 / one-way trip
• Child (under 15 years old): €10 / week, €2 / one-way trip

Parking areas and tickets

P4-SPECTATORS (competitors and spectators)

• Location: 2.5 km from the competition center
• Transport: Nonstop shuttle bus service to the competition center (included in the parking fee)
• Prices:
  • €40 / week, €12 / day (passenger cars and vans)
  • €45 / week, €13 / day (camper vans)
• Tickets: Available in advance online store (weekly tickets only) or on-site at the event from the KOW-info desks in the event centre or competition center.

P3-SPECTATORS (competitors and spectators)

• Location: 1–1.3 km from the competition center
• Prices: €40 / week, €12 / day (passenger cars and vans)
• Tickets: Available in advance online store (weekly tickets only) or on-site at the event from the KOW-info desks in the event centre or competition center.

P2-FAMILY (Heikkilä Pirtti)

• Location: 200–400 meters from the competition center
• Details: Reserved exclusively for families with children. Only vehicles carrying strollers and children transported in them are permitted.
• Prices: €40 / week (cars and vans)
• Tickets: Available only in advance online store (limited availability).

P2-VIP/MEDIA (Heikkilä Pirtti)

• Location: 50–200 meters from the competition center
• Details: VIP parking is open to all attendees.
• Prices: €65 per week (cars and vans)
• Tickets: Available only in advance online store (limited availability).

P1-ACCESSIBLE (Heikkilä Pirtti)

• Location: At the competition centre.
• Prices: €40 / week, €12 / day (cars and vans)
• Tickets: Must be purchased in advance via email (info@rastiviikko.fi) with a valid accessible parking permit.
