Use of the emit card in Kainuu Orienteering Week

During the orienteering week of Kainuu Orienteering Week, using an emit card is mandatory for all orienteers due to safety reasons, because this is the only way we can control which orienteers have arrived from the terrain to the finish line.
Different orienteers (participants/persons) CANNOT use the same Emit card during the orienteering week.
Also in recreational orienteering (open courses), each person must have their own separate emit card in use, as the results service system identifies the orienteer with the number of the emit card. In Family-RR with one Emit card it is possible to orienteer as a team/group for example a child with parents, but even then one Emit card can only be used in one registration during the orienteering week.
If necessary, it is possible to rent an Emit card for 15 €/week or 5 €/day. Competition orienteers can rent an emit card from KOW-info and recreational orienteers from open courses info.
