Registration for the Kainuu Orienteering Week 2026 is Open – New Cancellation Protection Available
Kainuu Orienteering Week 2026 will take place on 28 June – 3 July 2026 in Säynäjä, Suomussalmi. Registration is now open, and the first – and most affordable – entry period closes on 30 November 2025. By registering now, you can save up to 40% on entry fees compared to on-site prices.
Cancellation Protection
For 2026, Kainuu Orienteering Week introduces a new cancellation protection for pre-registrations, available for both competitive and open courses (recreational categories). The protection can be purchased until 21 June 2026, giving participants greater flexibility and peace of mind. With the introduction of this cancellation protection, the cancellation terms have been updated, so we recommend reviewing them carefully.
The cancellation protection costs €10 per person and can be purchased from the KOW online shop. Each participant has 14 days from their registration date to purchase the protection.
Note for those registered by 22 September 2025: If you have not yet purchased the cancellation protection, you still have time to do so until 6 October 2025.
With the cancellation protection, participants can cancel their registration right up until the event, in which case the entry fee will be fully refunded.
