Parking and bus tickets for the Kainuu Orienteering Week, held from 28 June to 3 July 2026, are now available for advance purchase. You can reach the competition centre in Säynäjä (Kangasjärventie 78, Suomussalmi) conveniently by event bus or with your own car. Motorhomes can be parked in the P3–PUBLIC parking area near the competition centre.
Next year, travelling by event bus will be more affordable than before! A new family bus ticket is now available, making transportation even cheaper for families.
Bus Tickets
The competition bus operates between the Kainuu O-Week Event Village (Jaloniemi, near the centre of Suomussalmi), Ruukinkangas Camping Area, and Karhulanvaara Dormitory Accommodation, continuing to the competition centre in Säynäjä and back during each of the four competition days. The competition centre bus stop is located about 150 metres from the main arena.
Prices:
- Adult: €15 / week, €4 / one-way trip
- Child (under 15 years): €8 / week, €2 / one-way trip
- Family (2 adults + 2–3 children): €40 / week (only weekly tickets available)

Parking Areas and Tickets
P3–P4–PUBLIC (Competitors and Spectators)
- Location: 300–600 metres from the competition centre.
- Prices:
- €40 / week, €12 / day (cars and vans)
- €45 / week, €13 / day (motorhomes)
- Tickets: Weekly tickets available in advance from the online store.
Day tickets can be purchased on-site at the Event Village or Competition Centre KOW-Info.
P2–VIP/MEDIA
- Location: 150–250 metres from the competition centre.
- Additional Information: VIP parking spaces are available for all visitors.
- Prices: €65 / week (cars and vans)
- Tickets: Available only in advance from the online store (limited availability).
P1–ACCESSIBL
- Location: 50 metres from the competition centre.
- Prices: €40 / week, €12 / day (cars and vans)
- Tickets: Available in advance for holders of a valid disabled parking permit via email: info@rastiviikko.fi
