The selection of start times will open in one week. Review the key information in this bulletin to ensure a smooth selection process, keeping the start times of your entire family or group in mind.
Selection of Start Times
The selection of start times for categories H/D16-95 (excluding categories H/D16-21E) will be open from Friday, 12 June 2026 at 12:00 until Wednesday, 17 June 2026 at 23:59. If a participant does not select their start time through the service, a time will be randomly assigned to them from the remaining slots. See instructions for selecting start times.
Guide Map for Start Locations
The guide map for start locations has now been published. The map shows the distances from the competition centre to the start locations. Check out the start location guide map.
Final Distances Published
The final distances can now be found in the Categories and Distances table.
Start Time Windows in Competition Categories
The start time windows for the competition categories are as follows. More detailed, category-specific start times can be viewed in the selection service once it opens.
- Sunday 28 June: 13:00–16:30
- Tuesday 30 June: 11:00–14.30
- Thursday 2 July: 11:00–14:30
- Friday 3 July: 10:00–13:30
Start Time Windows in Open Courses
In recreational orienteering (open courses), you can head out into the terrain at any time of your choosing during the opening hours of the start location. Please note that registration at the start gate closes 20 minutes before the start location closes.
In the open courses, access to the terrain is as follows:
- Sunday 28 June: 13:00–16:30
- Tuesday 30 June: 11:00–14:30
- Thursday 2 July: 11:00–14:30
- Friday 3 July: 10:00–13:30
