Private accommodation
Our Accommodation Office mediates privately owned rental properties for event participants, such as holiday cottages, detached houses, row-house and apartment units, as well as individual rooms. The first options are already available for booking, and the selection is updated continuously as new properties are added.

Commercial accommodation
In the Suomussalmi and Hyrynsalmi areas, you’ll find a good selection of commercial accommodation options, including holiday apartments, cottages, and hotels.
If a slightly longer drive isn’t an issue, it’s also worth checking the accommodation available in nearby municipalities.

Dormitory accommodation
Along the Kainuu Orienteering Week competition bus route, approximately 7 kilometers from Suomussalmi’s Ämmänsaari center, dormitory accommodation is available. Each dormitory unit consists of four twin rooms and shared common areas.

Camping area accommodation
Near the Kainuu Orienteering Week event center, you’ll find the event’s own camping area, which serves guests staying in motorhomes, caravans, or tents. You can also explore other camping sites in the Suomussalmi and Hyrynsalmi regions.
