Stage Winners’ Awards to Be Presented on Thursday in Conjunction with the Pesäpallo Match at Hiukka

The awards for the winners of the second and third stages of the Kainuu Orienteering Week, as well as for the winners of the third stage of the Kainuu MTB Orienteering Week, will be presented on Thursday, 3 July at 17:30 at Hiukka Baseball Stadium in the centre of Sotkamo. Award recipients are kindly asked to arrive by 17:00.

Participation prizes for the children’s H/D8–10RR categories and the Family-RR category will be handed out during the interval of the Sotkamo Jymy pesäpallo match, at approximately 19:00. Recipients are requested to arrive by around 18:45.

Stage winners and all participants under the age of 15 will receive free entry to the pesäpallo match and the award ceremony. In addition, one parent or guardian of each child in the H/D8–10RR or Family-RR category will also be admitted free of charge.

On the final day of the competition, participation prizes will be distributed to young orienteers who were unable to attend Thursday’s ceremony at the baseball stadium. The prize-giving will begin at approximately 13:00 at the award stage next to the KRV Info point at the competition centre.
