You are warmly welcome to spend an experiential orienteering and holiday week for the whole family in Jämäsvaara, Kuhmo, Finland. Jämäsvaara is one of the most legendary and finest orienteering and nature destinations in Kuhmo and Kainuu. The magnificent terrain and landscapes of the area attracts the eyes (and shoes) and offers orienteers a memorable orienteering experience.

Read moreIn the women’s elite class, ski orienteer Mira Kaskinen from Rastikarhut took the win in the second stage, noting that her orienteering performance on the demanding and steep slopes was better than on Sunday.
In the men’s elite class, Aaro Aho of Valkeakosken Haka claimed victory with a time of 1:01:52 on the 8.8 km course. With the win, he also moved into first place in the overall standings of Kainuu Orienteering Week.
