Changes to Competitor Information and Use of Emit Cards 2026

Please keep your competitor information up to date! Check if you need to change your competition category or update your Emit card number. Below is important information for both competition categories and recreational orienteers (open courses).
Orienteers in Competition Categories
- Check your information: You can verify your Emit card number and competitor details here.
- Change of category: Free of charge until 31 May 2026. After this date, a €10 handling fee will be charged for category changes.
- Note: Start times will be available for selection on 12 June, so please ensure any category changes are completed before then.
- Change of Emit number: Free of charge until 7 June 2026. After this date, a €10 handling fee will be charged.
- Until 7 June 2026: You can update the number yourself via the Rastilippu service (please ensure the information updates to the Kainuu Orienteering Week registration list) or by email: info@rastiviikko.fi.
- From 8 June 2026 onwards: Changes can only be made by emailing the competition office: info@rastiviikko.fi.
- Please note: If an Emit card number has not been reported to the organizer by 7 June 2026, it will be treated as a change of Emit number and the handling fee will be charged.
Recreational Orienteers (Open Courses)
- Check your information: You can check your details on the daily start lists by course.
- Changing the course: For open courses (recreational orienteering), you can change your course free of charge.
- How to make changes? Both course changes and Emit card updates can be done:
- Via the link in your registration confirmation (sent to your email).
- Until 7 June 2026 by email: info@rastiviikko.fi.
- On-site at the Open Courses Info point (Pre-registered point).
- Previewing maps: Maps and courses for open categories can be viewed in advance near the Open Courses Info tent.
Note! Participants in the competition category are not allowed to view the maps before their own race.
Important notice
The same Emit card cannot be used by different individuals during the orienteering week.
